Another Ghibli enchantment, Kiki's Delivery Service is a feel good, charming and picture perfect animated film. The plot is easy to follow and airy, and I love how there's no real malicious subplot or villain to beat as Kiki's story focused on empowering themes such as coming of age, purpose, and finding yourself literally and as a personal journey. Kiki's Delivery Service brought laughs in unexpected sequences and beautiful on-flight scenes, fueled further by realistic daily life even when the plot involves witchcraft and flying brooms. Such an insightful and inspiring film! The climax is suddenly a bit too sharp and suspenseful, veering away from the established soft tone but overall, Kiki's Delivery Service is a sweet and liberating serve that’ll never go stale.
