Irimiás and Petrina’s review published on Letterboxd:
Very interesting stuff. The cinematography is breathtakingly good. Not just great, but masterful. The way lighting is setup and played with in still shots is nothing short of brilliant. I love a lot of the ideas playing around here and the loneliness and isolation is strongly felt but I can't say I enjoyed this as much as the last one of his films I watched (The Wayward Cloud) but it's still very interesting. The postmodern stuff involving 400 Blows is great. I guess what struck me most about this film was that the solution both of their problems seemed so clear to us but I guess it's never that clear or easy in reality. I feel like there is a lot of stuff I need to think over before making a final decision on my opinion of this film and a rewatch is definitely in order. Mysterious, complex, sad and beautifully made.
