Good lord what a stupid film. What an utter utter terrible dumb film.

The script is genuinely abysmal, how a film can be so corny, cringy, bluntly obnoxious with it's commentary, plain unfunny and distractingly transparent is actually impressive. They must've actively been trying to write a terrible script.

Probably the best live action spider-man film to date. I didn't think so when I first saw it but this film has really grown on me.
The acting is phenomenal, Tom Holland shines yet again and Jake Gyllenhaal was absolutely superb. He was totally convincing as a "nice guy" yet he delivered such a perfectly slimy and hateable performance as Quentin Beck. He's also one of the best written MCU characters ever.
The pacing was very strong. The story moved…
