I didn't intent on this..... but I guess I'm taking a drive down "Middling Ridley Scott Lane".

The opening 30mins is kind of cringey (the white-washing here is pretty glaring) & the film definitely doesn't know how to give the story a satisfying conclusion. That being said, it's middle 100mins with Moses as a guerilla war general is better than I had remembered it. Also, the plagues are depicted in both lavish & visually interesting ways.
