Completely respect Shyamalan's decision to get ahead of the "what was he cooking??" video essay industry by having a character explain the subtextual meaning of all the other characters, more films should do this. The creeping apocalyptic horror delivered almost entirely through Sky News chyrons was an unfortunate choice- I found myself suddenly wishing I was watching Knowing (2009), which isn't an emotion a human being should be forced to experience.
