  THE SPECIAL EFFECTS!!! can we take a minute to appreciate them? better than all that cgi bullshit that is used in films today. the 80s is the most fun decade for horror, and i’m here for it.

  i’m still not big on john carpenter and his way of directing, and i guess i’ll never be. his endings are just so weak (from what i’ve seen). moving on, kurt russell looks so sexy in this film (will i ever write a review without objectifying men? probably not).
