  What it does well it does really well, but it drags at times and really sputters out in the back third, especially once they're finally off the river. I'd take Southern Comfort over this by a good margin

  I wish I could love this as much as everyone else seems to, it's very fun, but overall it never fully works for me. Maybe it's just that I watch too many actual 70s crime flicks? Anyway if you like this check out The Big Fix (1978) for the real deal.

  Grimy, cold, mean, and just absolutely bleak as hell. A film that lays bare the reality that crime is a job, and like a lot of jobs it absolutely sucks.

  If we're gonna keep infinitely rebooting the franchises, we should do it like this; take the best of the previous iterations (most obviously here, Returns, Begins, The Dark Knight, a dash of the Arkham games) and mash them together in service of the new thing. And it works! This rules.
