Christopher Perkins’s review published on Letterboxd:
Scream (2022) reinforces the fact that this particular Horror series is consistent in quality. The latest entry is no exception. What a suspenseful, funny, &, at times, emotional film. It meets past expectations with current meta commentary. While delivering some of the best thrills in the franchise’s history. There are certainly a few flaws. Most notably in the central lead performance, some ineffective death scenes & questionable narrative choices. But the pros outweigh the cons in terms of entertainment value. If this newest “re-quel” is the beginning of more Ghostface, then it’s a very welcome return.
