Between this and Bone Tomahawk, Evan Jonigkeit is making a career out of being the most tragic man in horror
I’m not too proud to say I didn’t get it. I think I would’ve enjoyed the film much more if I had deciphered a single part of it. In some ways, that makes for a more intriguing story, but that comes at the expense of being an engaging experience. The usual Anderson vibes were present but not felt, because the whole thing was just so damn alienating. Almost nightmarish really.
