Aaron Tovar-Bustos’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s so much to like here: the dialogue, cinematography, the tension of a forbidden romance, it’s poetry. But when the romance finally blossomed, it didn’t resonate unfortunately. There was no overwhelming feeling from the pit of my belly aching to embrace another soul, what so ever. Say for the last two scenes though. Now that was a pay off. If only it had happened sooner like fellow LB, Jenna Ipcar, stated in her review.
