Aaron Tovar-Bustos’s review published on Letterboxd:
Great script, run time quick, superbly casted, and overall, a donut’s hole good time. Though it could have steered away from being too on the nose about a certain political view stance, would have added an air of mystery to Marta’s characterization. Giving weight to her own motivations in key scenes, that could have divided audience’s conclusions, rather than being used to make a political statement. I mean, because this is a “whodunnit.” Another red herring wouldn’t have hurt. Audiences would have figured things out anyway, with a few tweaks in dialogue, and I’m just nitpicking. I had a great time watching Knives Out. It deserves all the praise.
And if I ever get a pig for a pet, I will name it Mr. Benoit Blanc.
