Sleepwalks through the first hour with no sense of tension building or momentum, pretty much nothing about it is good except the bursts of ultra violence. Seriously this has no right to be so goddamn slow paced. Gets significantly better AN HOUR IN when the Resident Evil boss enemy shows up and even still I wouldn't call it as good as it should be. It's super video gamey which was my favorite aspect of it, for some reason I really liked the sound effects. When the nemesis walks around it makes a really big sound that just enhances the video game vibes. It's a must watch for fans of extreme action/horror but I don't see this making as much of a splash like it's cousins The Night Comes For Us or The Sadness because those movie are actually good.
