There is a moment when you are drunk and stop for a second. It's like a silence inside your head. Then, a voice say: why do you drink like that? What is the reason?
I'm felt like that way watching this great film. It was funny, sophisticated, light and hypnotic... But what was the reason? Reflect on alcohool abuse? The effects of...? Midlife crisis?
Isn't a missing piece, is a missing coating. From beggining to end. An important coating and that would make all the difference.
So, it's a good movie. A great direction by Vinterberg and an interesting protagonist by Mads Mikkelsen. Only that.
I really liked It , but the absense of that coating was heavier than I expected.
