Bloody hell. Boring, jokes fall flat, hardly anyone responds to the hijinks, girl is annoying, not funny. I managed about 60mins & that was enough. Lame.
And either give that editor some coffee or stop giving them too much. Or acid or whatever the fuck they were using. Terrible stylistic approach that didn't serve any real purpose, but cause confusion and distraction.
And stop yelling. Fer fucks sake....
But apart from that, it was a pretty cool... Nice twist on the theme...
We get it Jim. You're playing a stressed out cop. But stop yelling. Its fucking annoying & you just come across as a overbearing shithead.
Holy frikkin' shit... That was...just fantastic. At first you think it's going to be a languid storyline ala the John Wayne film The Searchers, where the 'injuns' kidnap the daughter & the menfolk then go in search of her whereabouts. We get a lengthy travelling set-up where the four male character's personalities are opened up & revealed. Then kaboom!!! Shit happens...and this longtime horror film fan winces more than once at what is depicted. It really is a film that would be ruined by more discussion on my part. Easily in my top 10 for the year. Loved the dialogue as it was witty, clever & historically appropriate.
Like many I was at a young age when I originally saw Halloween. Thankfully I saw it at a local repertory cinema circa 79/80. And it has always been a personal favourite. I've endured through most of the sequels, some with success, several without, but after watching this supposedly new 'legit sequel' I can well and truly say that all those previous efforts in the franchise shit bricks on this misfire.
Fuck me. I was really looking forward to this…
