Ian Hugo’s review published on Letterboxd:
A favorite of mine. The perfect mix of awesome and ridiculous, this explosive ode to the B-movie is fun from start to finish. One of those movies that I just wish would never end and I could spend more time with the characters. If you’re into action/horror movies, this is a must-see. Even if you’re not, still worth checking out just to experience the thrill-ride for the first time. I will never stop laughing at the fact that Robert Rodriguez directed this as well as another favorite of mine from when I was a kid, Spy Kids. The duality of man, am I right?
