I do like this movie. Carrie Fisher's scene holds a truly special place in my heart in particular. But more than that, I just continue to be in awe of it as a cultural artifact. Simultaneously an absurd, enjoyable spectacle, and insane testament to the Weinsteins' psychopathic narcissism.
VHS ends with Creed music video featuring David Arquette, and their guitarist playing basketball while getting attacked by Ghostface, which really brings me back.
Immediately went home and tried to hug my cat like Celia hugs that rabbit.
Powerful and haunting with one of the best performances by a child I've ever seen. Really glad I went into this relatively blind and wasn't expecting it to be a horror movie like the tagline implies.
Couldn't shake the thought that I recognized Celia from something and it turns out it was as Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle.
