Hearts Beat Loud 2018
Heartwarming! Cute! Nice! It’s hard to look at Toni Collette the same after she lit that dude on fire! Fun! Sweet!

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch 2018
The story itself is pretty flawed, but it is absolutely insane that this exists. So, 4 stars.
Updating after a few days: the magic died down and most of what I remember is the lame story. 3.5 now. -
Babette's Feast 1987
Watching this (and enjoying it) is the most cultured I’ve ever felt. Babette is a QUEEN.

We Need to Talk About Kevin 2011
That might be the single most upsetting movie I’ve ever watched. I definitely wasn’t ready for that.

Roma 2018
A few incredible shots, some brilliant, subtle long takes, but overall...meh. Everything moves incredibly slowly and things felt pretty dull for the first 30 minutes or so. The third act was pretty great, but it just took so long to get there. I seem to be in the vast minority on this one, so, hey. Maybe I’ll try it again in a month or two.

Burn After Reading 2008
I started off really uninterested, but it gets so much better as it goes on. Brad Pitt is incredible.

Cape Fear 1991
De Niro was super entertaining in this. However, for a movie that didn’t exactly seem like it was supposed to be funny, there were quite a few goofy ass moments. Fun watch though.
