shit slapped! feels extremely PTA, even tho he hasn’t explicitly made something like *this* before. its lightheartedness/general kinda coming-of-age-vibe puts it in an intriguing, different sorta category than his other films for me…but its humor, messy life lessons, and endearing hope, regardless of the circumstances — hits me in a classic PTA way. love this man, love this cast, alana haim is a star, etc etc etc

this movie gotta be helpful as hell for Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Will Ferrell x James Caan opens up a world of possibilities in different directions

batshit insane movie. they don’t make ‘em as cringe (in a positive way) as this anymore. also: let it be known that Marko first waking up as Sandman and struggling to hold the locket is one of the best comic-book movie sequences of all time

pure christmas chaos. lots of weird guys in this one. much better than that horrid film where everybody bullies the reindeer

took me 24 years to finally watch this movie 👍 it was probably the coolest thing i’ve ever seen. i wonder if the Wachowskis knew they were making the coolest thing ever — as they were making it

Don’t Look Up is…unfathomably cringe. truly astounding levels of cringe. unprecedented cringe, really. the people that you went to high school with that do multilevel marketing are gonna love it. Adam McKay is the directorial embodiment of the “Ruthkanda Forever” tweet. Timmy was fun tho.
