I feel like the flaws with this are obvious (the coloring is so weird and bad, some of the editing is a miss, some of the dialogue is a bit on the nose (though I haven't read the book so)), but I really loved this one. I cried maybe 60% of it. "haha". Really engages with the idea of self-determination and dialogue in a way I haven't seen onscreen much. A movie I'll be thinking about for a long time even if I can very much recognize its shortcomings

Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical 2022
Cutting both Telly and Loud is unforgivable, frankly. Some of the additions/plot changes don't really work, but overall a fun adaptation that gets create with the shift in mediums.
