It's a Miyazaki production, so it goes without saying the film is lush with charm and wonderment placed in a magical urban setting. Kiki is a great central character to focus on and I love the fish out of water story of the first witch in this bustling town. The landscapes are gorgeous, especially when you see the city in action where it bursts with life. Most of all, I love the pacing of the film which is steady in its patience to allow you to develop attachments with its main characters. There are even some supporting cast members I wish we could have seen MORE of. Glad I finally caught this one.
