Terence Ang 洪偉凱’s review published on Letterboxd:
An on-point undressing of the deep-rooted relationship between economic anxiety and masculinity with ahead-of-its-time commentaries on body positivity and homophobia -- everything Magic Mike should've covered fifteen years later with its perfectly-sculpted biceps and abs but didn't, even whitewashing the latter and the film (and male strippers) basically panders to a gay audience.
The Full Monty is also a hilarious, light-hearted, and feel-good little dramedy.
