Some great E. Wright creative unique work but I found myself not caring about the character. She became mostly unbelievable by the last third.
Probably the biggest negative is that I don’t buy the logic of the film with the big reveal at the end.

The logic I don’t buy is that the main character is possessed by a spirit of a woman who is alive. How does that work? I get it if the person has died and their soul becomes a ghost. I don’t get how a live person can unknowingly have a ghost. Maybe I missed some explanation?

I’ll read some interviews with Wright since it’s Very impressive filmmaking. I’ll have to revisit at some point to truly judge.

DGA screening NYC.
