Martin Scorsese

A complete and utter goat. Not just an important figure for my falling in love with this medium, but also for the art form itself. Dude just pops off consistently and has been making best of the decade contenders since the 70s, which is insanity.

I don't know if it another Scorsese flick could ever top Goodfellas. The Departed sits at #3 right now and some days it's my favourite Scorsese because it's his only film that always puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh hysterically from beginning to end. I've said it before but I wholeheartedly believe it's the greatest comedy of all time.

Sometimes Scorsese indulges a bit too much and sometimes he can actually be pretty damn vulgar but even when that happens it's always fun and impressive. Can't wait to finish off my blind spots!
