    "Lead them to paradise."

I need to start this by saying, I must be cursed. This is my second IMAX screening in a row where I've been distracted by forces out of my control. To be fair, the theater also could not have anticipated this happening either so I don't blame them but of course the first show of the 70mm that I managed to squeeze myself into last minute had to have audio issues. "This is only the beginning."

After watching this film I just want to feel the sand shift through my fingers and see spice glisten in the air. You feel that? To be honest, watching this at home wasn't as grand as it was in a theater but it's still breathtaking. Now I'll just be holding my breath until Part Two. Luckily, it won't be a long wait. If he wasn't in this, guaranteed failure. He's easily my…

"Something about you seems different. I can’t quite figure it out."

It's familiar but different and I don't think it's bad but I'm not sure if I liked it either.

Halle Bailey is actually quite lovely, although I'm still a bit disappointed that the first "redhead Disney princess" from my childhood wasn't cast as a natural ginger for this adaptation. Her voice is amazing though, miles above everyone else. I did not need a solo from Eric though. Who, in…
