the beauty of guadagnino’s work is overwhelming. this is a brutal story cut with the typical delicacy and affection that brings authenticity to his work; the frames feel honest and the static compositions wistful. master of aesthetic!

this was so poorly written that it was actually getting confusing. the character motivations are so weak and the plot is so thin, i'm not even sure what i'm supposed to take away from this. everything was either too convenient or too cliché and frankly it was just boring.
