My Bloody Valentine 2009
I saw this upon first release in the theater, and the 3-D was spectacular. This was right before the mass influx of bandwagoners that used sub optimal post production 3-D to cash in on the gimmick’s resurgence. Director Lussier with Brian Pearson as DP shot this in

Harry Manfredini gets funky. Steve Miner does it again. And Jason becomes iconic. All in 3-D!
The hardest thing to watch is seeing that wonderful first issue of Fangoria ruined with drops of blood. Still difficult, I gotta look away.

Richard Brooker might be my favorite Jason. It’s really between him and Ted White (Final Chapter).“Sex, sex, sex… You guys are getting boring.”
Watched in anaglyph 3-D and wearing my official Camp Crystal Lake cap.

Including one with Robert DeNiro, Being Flynn, costarring Julianne Moore, who gets no mention in the trailer.
