Martin McDonagh has a way of making everyday characters effortlessly funny and interesting; even if everyone else in their life finds them boring.

Absolutely stunning landscape that contrasts well with the existential despair prevelant throughout PΓ‘draic’s simple, quiet life.

On an emotional level, this movie hit me harder than anything I’ve seen this year.

It’s interesting to think that people can make drastic life decisions without really owing an explaination to anyone. Colm just wants to be left alone, and…

I can’t explain it but Duncan Idaho is both the best name ever and also the worst.

    Love me and nobody else.

Bro got hit with more red flags than a matador in a communist parade and still proceeded like nothing was amiss. Haven’t had a film climax make me feel this physically ill in years. Nice.

Is it reallyΒ a slasher movie if they don’t stop at a sketchy gas station in the middle of nowhere at the beginning?

An Arthurian acid-trip detailing the ambiguity of what it means to be a hero;Β The Green Knight is a gorgeously obscure tale.Β

The film relies heavily on atmosphere over pacing, while presenting a unique take on a classic story. I always find myself really intrigued by Barry Keoghan’s bizarre presence.

I found the vagueness of Gawain’s character really interesting, as well. Is he a hero or a coward? Does he truly seek honor?Β Nothing is what it seems in this fascinating visual production.

Best film I’ve seen in 2021 so far.
