"We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented."
Revisited this one for a Carrey-related video project I'm working on and rediscovered maybe one of the great dramatic satires of the 90's? Holy shit. To think this bizarre, suburban sci-fi film became a studio hit is just astonishingly wonderful. Carrey nails the role, as does every member of the cast, and the script is so well-crafted and sharply written that it holds you tight from minute one and doesn't let up. Easily in the Top 5 best films Jim Carrey has ever been a part of.
