Henry’s review published on Letterboxd:
Had access to HBO Max for the first time this weekend and that is such a relief because I’ve been dying to see this since it came out. First of all, I absolutely love the title of this film. I didn’t pick up on it before I had seen it, but it adds a whole other layer to the story. The performances are breathtaking. Daniel Kaluuya, LaKeith Stanfield, Jesse Plemmons, and every other cast member give fantastic performances. During every one of Kaluuya’s speeches I couldn’t look away, and I felt completely enthralled for the entire movie. The story itself is incredibly important and I urge everyone to see this at some point whenever possible. Just make sure you are emotionally prepared because it hits very hard at some points.
