Henri’s review published on Letterboxd:
Varda's both journalistic and artistic skills shine here. She is really talented at positioning herself in her work, as evidenced also in her fictional films such as Cléo. Here Varda keeps an impressive balance between letting her own (and right) stance show without unnecessary effort for forced objectivity, and also giving major space to the subjects at the same time.
A great, passionate documentary that could've been longer. Of course the personally interesting subject matter also resonates here; I've been meaning to read Bobby Seale's Seize the Time for quite some time and this surely gave me new motivation for it.
