Starts out like a DTV Robocop with a satiric and sleazy heightened atmosphere. Quickly morphs into a more serious Die Hard situation (it's more "Under Siege in a building" than Die Hard proper if that makes any sense). Moves at a clip with fun and crunchy action. John Glover as a mask-off Mr. Clamp is the highlight and Olivier Gruner shows yet again his natural talent for playing melancholic robot men.

The Fugitive 1972
Gun-fu in 1972! Countless pulpy squibs and whip zooms! Frenetic editing and camera arcs! Sammo cameo! 77 minutes! This would be a cult favorite if it weren't for the unlicensed Morricone music keeping this from having a bigger video release...

Shin Kamen Rider 2023
His Motorbike, Her Prana
Theater was mostly empty, but there was a family with a young kid a few rows ahead of me. They snuck in some McDonald's and it sounded like the kid was explaining the lore to his parents throughout the whole movie. I'm assuming this was the greatest day of his entire life.

The Matrix 1999
Dragula is being played at a club in the first act, which means there's a naked hairless Rob Zombie being siphoned for bioelectricity in one of those pods.
