"Everybody deserves someone who speaks their language."

There could be thousands of people who will pass through you your whole life, but not all of them could speak the language of your soul. To be loved is to be understood, but this film has shown that to be loved is also to create a language of your own.

Verily, in this modern age, doth the crafting of cheesy romcoms wane. Such sweet and tender tales, woven with folly and affection, find scant home within the halls of cinema. (they don't make cheesy romcoms like this anymore)

There is something so special about Korean filmmakers and how they capture emotions so vividly. They have this ability to strike a nerve in your brain that makes each moment of longing and happiness flow through you.

Who's the monster? We all have our own monsters—be it a monster in human guise, a sinister system, or a primal beast within ourselves. We're all so estranged from this concept of 'humanity' that we embark on a perpetual quest only to find the very essence of what it really means to be human.

More like dark academia, old money Parasite. I think the fact that it had all the most beautiful people I've ever seen drove me more insane than the actual twist. If there's one thing about me, I'd devour every movie under the 'eat the rich' genre, though this offered me only a few bits to chew on (but gave me lots to choke on). Still thought it was a fun watch nonetheless.
