Pig has the pacing of a Western, set in the world of food culture, and a thesis of “fuck hipsters” but says it in the most sincere, and kind way possible.
Not at all the movie you probably expect, this is instead one of those heavy movies that is very easy to watch. It might be that the foodie stuff is a good in or that it continually surprises you with compassion at every turn, but regardless
I can already tell I’ll be thinking about this one for a long time.
