love the animation style, appreciate that the story is intelligent and thought out rather than the other spider-man multi-verse film. enjoyed the character development but i thought it was too long
maybe i’d have minded the length less if i didn’t go to a late screening but i was almost willing it to end by the last 10 mins because they kept dragging it out further
it’s interesting but something is missing … don’t ask me what though
very sweet, sentimental story with some very pretty cinematography
kinda reminded me of the book kitchen by banana yoshimoto as it covers a lot of very similar themes (which i will recommend to anyone who likes this film)
appreciate the animation style but superhero films are never really my style

i think this is a really beautiful way of depicting complex trauma and emotional incest balanced with light humour
acting was really incredible, everything involving mommy issues always gets a higher score from me but i struggle to understand why people are giving this such a low mark. i think it takes a little bit of digestion but not to the point of being incomprehensible
if u have the option to see this in cinema then definitely do
viewing experience made interesting by getting five minutes worth of ads every ten minutes for the last 40 mins of the only stream we could find
