Kedi ★★★

As lackadaisical, easy going and lithe as cats themselves, this documentary about Istanbul’s street cats is nicely shot (apart from some unimaginative drone shots) and ethereally, if superficially contemplative.

Predictably each of the featured cats is given an anthropomorphic personality largely projected onto them by their doting carers.

Even at 79 minutes running time it eventually gets somewhat repetitive leaving one wishing that there was more of Istanbul in it.
