Harrison Porter’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm speechless about this one. Moonlight successfully pulled me out of a staggering depression that lasted for about a month that was caused by a lack of creativity and a bit of self loathing. That is what art is capable of. It reminds us of the potential of human creativity.
Moonlight is intended and understood by those who are different. It uses its characters, relationships, pictures and sounds to break the hearts of the audience. I use the word masterpiece lightly, but perhaps it is one.
