Jared Leto, who vegan-dieted himself to emaciated barely alive look, has always been a good actor (but he is a creep, let's not forget that) and his performance here is the highlight though I fear asking what dumb shit he did this time for his "method acting". Denzel does the bare minimum. Malek is awful, Leto is great but Denzel just is.
Terrific score by Thomas Newman, which really adds some personality to an otherwise bland affair. Nice cinematography and 90s & noir vibes throughout.
Insanely underwhelming last 15 minutes cost this one a star.
