If Davis had any chemistry with delightful Stewart that would maybe salvage her bland character but she didn't. Then you have incredible Aubrey Plaza as the romantic alternative for Stewart's character and it's just mind-boggling where the story goes. As soon as the cameras rolled on Day 1 they should have noticed that and just turn this into lesbian Get Out where Stewart's lovely character is trapped in that house with a nightmare of a girlfriend and her weirdo family.โฆ
