Mother is a well written and directed , emotional , intense murder mystery thriller about a mother who takes the investigation of a case against her son in her own hands with top notch performances , visuals and background score. Kim Hye-ja plays her role of a suffering mother to perfection. She carries the entire film right from the first minute. Bong Joon-ho cleverly manages to create an undying tension throughout the film which keeps us in the edge of the seat. A great watch !

Nayakan 1987
What a stunning cinematography by P.C.Sreeram ! The lighting and the visuals left me awestruck. Ilaiyaraja's songs and background score are a major addition to the movie. The background score along with Kamal Haasan's outstanding performance and great storytelling by Mani Ratnam makes Nayagan one of the best movies of all time. A masterpiece indeed .

Kadaisi Vivasayi is a heartwarming , peaceful , authentic , honest , beautifully written and directed film that revolves around a farmer in his village , his day to day life and the problems he face in the form of an incorrect prisonment. This film beautifully captures the essence of the village. I felt like I was there with the habitants of the place. The songs and the background score by SaNa and Richard Harvey was mesmerizing and a great addition to the film. The performances and the locations felt so original. This film reminded of Satyajit Ray's Pather Panchali. A great watch!
