The story is a bit too loose for my taste. Lots of good things, but the story lags here and there.
The performances are top.
The cinematography is wonderful.
I liked the film, but the director has taken giant leaps to get to Portrait of a lady on fire.

A major upgrade from the old blu-ray to the Arrow released 4K UHD. The colors pop like they did in the cinema. Tons of interesting extras (new and old).
Not dated at all. This is a crime classic, love it.
