James Gunn just reminded us what Marvel can be when it’s at its best. Infinity War is Marvels greatest achievement but GotG Vol. 3 is its best. This is Marvel perfected. I loved everything about this. This has everything a James Gunn film typically has but the stakes are much higher. This is the most emotionally charged Marvel film and the flashbacks broke my heart. Rockets back story was the perfect vehicle to drive this. Every Guardian shines and the High Evolutionary was a great villain, something Marvel often lacks. And I haven’t even gotten to the soundtrack yet, which was truly amazing. Gunn was really showing off there. I have so much more I can say but I’ll end with saying that this was one the best experience I’ve had in a while. Thank you James Gunn.
