It wasn't until the very end in which I realised I felt nothing during this film. I wasn't happy, or sad. I was consistently neutral. That's not a bad thing, but it isn't a good thing either. What a terrible review this is.
Utterly mesmerising. Not only one of my favourites of the year, but my favourite directional debut since 12 Angry Men. Amirpour's The Bad Batch is now my most anticipated film of 2016, alongside Eggers' The Witch (another promising debut).
