    Promising Young Woman

i don’t think i can explain my feelings right now. it was brutal. messed me up.

  • Shame

i’m just thinking how tf michael fassbender’s performance in shame isn’t considered one of the greatest of 21st century.
and about the movie, i loved how real it felt. i think  the reason of that is mcqueen’s directing and the amazing performances by fassbender and mulligan. you can tell that this movie is a product of a real hard work.

  • Ghostbusters

    “ you know you’re a real humanitarian.”
    “ i don’t think he’s human.”

    The Piano Teacher

my second haneke film and he is becoming one of my favorite directors. this was perfect.

  • Malcolm & Marie

    Malcolm & Marie

malcolm&marie was fun to watch. i loved the cinematography. acting was really good. especially watching john david washington was really entertaining. and the music choice was 10/10. but i found the plot too weak. dialogues felt exaggerated for the plot. and i couldn’t make any emotional connection with the characters. so it was worth to watch but i don’t think i‘ll want to watch it again.

  • Coherence

one of my favorite things about cinema is movies like this. small budget brings out people’s potentials and when they use it right they make brilliant movies like coherence.

  • Pieces of a Woman

    Pieces of a Woman

i don’t know how they did it but they turned such a fragile situation into a soulless, pointless movie. it looked very amateur overall. the score was absolutely terrible and didn’t fit the movie. but at least ellen burstyn was there to make it watchable. other than that i can say that  this was very disappointing.

    Johnny Got His Gun

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

this is the scariest and saddest movie i’ve ever watched. i read the novel couple months ago and it destroyed me like the movie. even just thinking about it gives me chills.
    “-What is democracy?
-It’s got something to do with young men killing each other.
-When it comes my turn, will you want me to go?
-For democracy any man would give his only begotten son.”

“If I had arms I would kill myself. If I had legs I could run away. If I had a voice I could talk and keep company to myself.”

“Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori”

  • Suspiria

it’s obvious that suspiria is way ahead of its time. while it kept me on the edge of my seat it was visually pleasing at the same time. the colors were hypnotizing. and the soundtrack is one of the creepiest soundtracks of all time. it made the movie 10 times better.

    Call Me by Your Name

okay. this was beautiful, tender, sweet and heartbreaking. i seriously can’t find any flaws. acting, cinematography, the story, soundtrack...
