GUIBOB’s review published on Letterboxd:
Clearly, this will not win the best writing of the year. Based on a book, Where the Crawdads Sing was a movie filled with cliche plot point, but was a bit saved by the main actress. Daisy Edgar-Jones did a good job trying to make this film a bit entertaining. Clearly, i'm not the target audience since I found this very dull and predictable and it felt like a movie that I already saw. Sadly, the *twist* didn't affect me as I would wanted, I literally laughed out loud. Saved by the performances, this film was a misfire.
