Enchanting, liminal, gross, and even stupid at times. Nomi is battered in bruised by men and their gaze and everyone she lets have power over her. She has a sense of agency but it phases in and out, leaving her more vulnerable than the last time. But how could she not with her excitedly troubling past? Polarizing sure, but still genius in the manner of presenting sex from, for, and by women in a commodified way that is questioned adequately.…

    The Matrix Revolutions

The Wachowski's Prometheus. Abundant with clichés, religious imagery, and bombastic fight scenes, The Matrix Revolutions stole my mind for 2 hours 9 minutes and 17 seconds. The Batman

The best live action rendition of Batman to date. Inspired by The Long Halloween and Batman of old, The Batman comes in with a sharper edge. Plenty of established Batman stories and characters are morphed into Matt Reeves vision. This vision is fully realized in the 3 hour runtime and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thus far it has to be my favorite Batman film story line. The story and writing are among the strongest parts of the…
