The urban legend surrounding snuff films is a scary one. It has however spawned some interesting works inspired by it, from video games like Rockstar Games' Manhunt to a sizeable number of movies. One such example is Joel Schumacher’s 8mm, a rather morbid Nicolas Cage vehicle written by the same guy who penned Se7en.

Tom Welles (Cage) is a Pennsylvania private investigator who gets hired by a wealthy widow to investigate a 8mm film depicting the apparent on-screen murder of…

So this is the kind of "magic" you can expect to find on Disney+, a violent old-school action-thriller where Steven Seagal battles Jamaican drug posses.

Now there's a lot that I can say about Seagal as an individual (none of it very nice mind you). Of course, there was a point where he was seen as a credible action star, whose early films are genuinely fun guilty pleasures. While some would say Out for Justice or Under Siege, my choice…

Holy shit, the reviews weren’t wrong. This thing is a fuckin’ ABOMINATION. A Scientology passion-project gone completely tits-up. Now I’m not exactly sure what convinced me to finally watch this after hearing about it’s bad reputation for years, but I can say it has more or less earned that reputation. Believe me, Battlefield Earth is SHIT. Not nearly as shit as some other films I’ve seen, but shit enough, if that makes sense.

So essentially, in the year 3000, man…

Another day, another WWE Studios production, but this one thankfully happens to be one of the better ones I've seen. And no less, it's another take on the "Most Dangerous Game" formula, that happens to star the Texas Rattlesnake himself, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

When awaiting execution in a Salvadorian prison, Jack Conrad (Austin) is quickly selected to be part of a new online reality show produced by wealthy producer Ian Breckel. The goal of the show is pretty simple,…

    NOTE: Much better review here.

The Thing stands as one of my all-time favourite sci-fi/horror films. Hell, I'd even consider it the best thing that John Carpenter ever did. This was my first ever exposure to the director's work, as well as Kurt Russell, and since then I've always been a massive fan of both of them.

Based on the science-fiction short story "Who Goes There?", it begins in Antarctica, where a seemingly harmless husky dog infiltrates a U.S research…

I've seen YouTube Poops with better production values than this.

Absolutely fucking painful. So bad that I refuse to even give it a proper write-up.
