Everything that involves Sandman and Peter using the black suit as a vice to fuel is revenge is perfect. You can clearly see that’s where Raimi wanted to go with this film...however everything else 😬. Look, you can pick apart emo Peter, Topher Grace’s Venom, and an unbelievably lame climax, but that fact of the matter is Spider-Man 3 is a major disappointment. While the Editor’s Cut (HIGHLY recommend) makes it a bit better, it still suffers a lot of the same issues.
