• Ahsoka

I genuinely feel like Dave Filoni wasted my time with a big handful of nothing.

  • The Exorcist

    The Exorcist

“Your mother sucks cocks in Hell, Karras, you faithless slime.”

Started off spooky season by rewatching what is perhaps the most iconic horror movie of all time. This is the movie that the horror genre has been trying to replicate to this day for better or worse.

I know this movie has some dated aspects, but I just love all of it. I miss and I crave the subtle and quiet environment and tone that horror movies from the 70s were able to pull off so well. It’s just so spooky and skin-crawly.

  • Stop Making Sense

    Stop Making Sense

Had the opportunity to catch this masterpiece of an album on the big screen. If ever they decide to make a biopic about these guys, it is absolutely required by law that they cast Cillian Murphy as David Byrne. Literally a match made in heaven.

  • Saw X

    Saw X

This is easily the best tenth installment in a movie franchise ever made. Granted there aren’t too many franchises that have made it to ten films. But these guys seriously went from zero to peak just like that. Kudos to them.

  • The Creator

    The Creator

Gareth Edwards try and create something that is not mid challenge.

  • GoodFellas

“You know, we always called each other good fellas. Like you said to, uh, somebody, "You're gonna like this guy. He's all right. He's a good fella. He's one of us." You understand? We were good fellas. Wiseguys. But Jimmy and I could never be made because we had Irish blood. It didn't even matter that my mother was Sicilian. To become a member of a crew you've got to be one hundred per cent Italian so they can trace…

  • The Little Mermaid

    The Little Mermaid

Still the best of the Disney live-action remakes, but oh boy this was a film made by AI or a committee, not an artist with any kind of vision whatsoever. Halle Bailey’s great tho.

  • Barbie

They made Gravik from Secret Invasion (2023) a Ken in this movie, so that retroactively makes him enough as a villain in that show.

  • Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

This should be used as a textbook example in film school on how not to make a movie.

  • West Side Story

    West Side Story

The shot of the rotating wheel of lights reflecting in the rippling water is one of the most glorious breathtaking shots in cinematic history. Spielberg is the maestro of filmmaking.

  • Bottoms

Damn this was a really hardcore origin story for Sydney Adamu.

  • Passages

A dour and depressing Safdie Brothers lite film about a character making the absolute worst decisions imaginable, and I’m just sitting the entire runtime waiting for the other characters to realize how toxic he is.
