Letterboxd — Your life in film

I watched this with motion smoothing on

“Everyone knows cops doing extrajudicial executions in the street is bad. What this movie presupposes is, maybe it’s not?”

Shudder to think about the car surfing deaths and lifelong injuries this movie is directly responsible for. 

Much more watchable than I remember it being in high school when I found it to be a drag but charmingly retro

*exasperated voice* A real spectacle

the only redeeming part of this movie is fashion

in the future, LA poverty will be made invisible. poor people will be exiled. female agency will be optional.

the ending of this movie perpetuates the fallacy of digital dualism. where do we think they can really go? lol. this put so many bad ideas in people's heads. (high waisted pants wasn't one of them)
