I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that this film felt a lot more violent than it’s predecessors (what does that say about me? let’s not address that). I thought the cast was interesting and the kills were brutal (rip Anika, that felt like a personal attack on queer people ahh) but I wish there was a little more substance to the killers - their motivation wasn’t as exciting as I was expecting it to be, if you’re going to give us a more vicious killer then it should be taken that little step further and really commit to an unhinged and deranged climax.
On another note, Kirby please give me a chance, I would never stab you, I can treat you better.
